Greenhouse Gas Spectrum CO2, H2O, O2 & Methane

#Climatechange, #Globalwarming, #CO2levels, #greenhousespectrum

This greenhouse spectrum clearly shows the "Upgoing Thermal Radiation" from the Earth directly coincides with O2 absorption properties and not CO2.  With CO2 at 400ppm (or 0.04%) not even colliding with Earth's infrared emissions because of the Earth's average Temperature.  If the Earth were hundreds of degrees warmer then the Earth's infrared emissions would eventually collide with the remaining 1/2 of one spectral spike, 2.5 of CO2 infrared absorption bands  are over run by water vapor absorption bands.  In addition to that, those 2.5 absorption bands are way out side of the Earth's infrared emission bands running between 8um to 10.5um.  CO2 has zero contribution to the greenhouse gas effect as proven by this infrared spectrum of all greenhouse gases.

Yet water vapor at 40,000ppm (or 4%) has 7 absorption bands with only 2 overlaying Earth's infrared emission bands.  Water vapor is 270 times the greenhouse gas as compared to CO2, that never touches the infrared absorption bands emitted by the earth's Upgoing Thermal Radiation.

Methane is measured at 1.5ppm and is also over run by water vapor absorption bands and it too has zero contribution to the greenhouse gases because of water vapor absorption bands.

But Oxygen at 209,000ppm (or 20.9%) lays right dead nuts in the middle of the infrared emissions of the Earth's "upgoing Thermal Radiation" Band.  Making Oxygen the greatest most effective green house gas of all based on infrared spectral properties and the quantity at 209,000ppm (20.9%)...  So when does the war on Oxygen Start?

Remember that the Average Oxygen level is 20.9% in our open atmosphere and the minimum oxygen our bodies need to prevent organ failure is 19.5%.  There is only a 1.4% margin between having enough oxygen and not having enough oxygen.  The first organ to fail at 19.5% is our Brain.  However the Human body can tolerate breathing as much as 100% oxygen at 1 atmosphere indefinitely with no problems, just don't light up your cigarettes or start a campfire or you will not live to tell about it.  And because of that the upper limit for oxygen to breath is 24%, any more than that and any fires or sparks you make could result in either an explosion or an uncontrollable fire hazard.  Just ask NASA about Apollo 1, they learned the hard way.

Recreational SCUBA Diving ends at 130ft to 150ft, because at 200ft (with 8 Atmospheres worth of pressure) oxygen starts to turn into a deadly poison that will start to Liquify your lung tissues and dissolve away your nervous system.  So in order to dive deeper than 200ft, you either have to force 1 atmosphere Hard SCUBA suit or use computerized rebreathers to force a different recalculated Oxygen / Helium / Nitrogen ratio mix to prevent oxygen poisoning.  In order to dive below 150ft you must be certified as a Technical diver trained to use re-breathers and (or) hard pressurized SCUBA suites.

So as you can see, reducing Oxygen by only 0.1% will have a bigger effect than completely eliminating 400ppm of CO2 from our atmosphere.  But if you removed all of the CO2 from our atmosphere you will kill all plant life.  It has been proven in the Lab and in the Field;  that all plant life dies when CO2 levels fall below 150ppm.  Which it almost did about 18,000 years ago.  And if that had happened, all plant life on earth would of died, and all animal life would of followed soon after.   So be careful about reducing CO2 Levels, that has been proven to be more deadly than experiencing any levels of CO2 doubling to 800ppm.  A typical rain forest can have 800ppm and nothing dies because of it.
